Version 2.0 adds Colour schemes - in settings
We have created three different colour schemes to choose from to help you navigate your way around the Carb Counter:

1. Classic grey (v1.0)
2. Traffic sign icons, or
3. Contemporary icons (v2.0)

Choose the option that suits you best. You can change your preference at any time.

Also in version 2:
Edible Weight Serve
When adding fruit to your meal you can now enter the weight of the whole fruit e.g. with skin on or stone in the fruit and the Carb Counter will determine the edible weight and amount of carbohydrate.

For example if you were to add a banana to your meal, first weigh it with the skin on, then select banana from the food list eg. Banana (ladyfinger)

The database will show Banana (ladyfinger) - 1 average banana - peeled - (90g whole weight).

To edit the whole weight select Edible Weight Serve. You will be prompted to enter the whole weight. Type in the amount in grams and click Add to My Meal.

You will see that the table displays the Edible Weight Serve, Carbohydrate and number of Exchanges. The whole weight appears above the tale.

My food list
You can add food items that are not included on the downloaded database that you like and eat regularly.

Simply follow the prompts and enter the food name, a description, serve size e.g. 1 cup, 1 slice etc. the serve weight in grams or ml e.g. 75g or 220ml and the amount of carbohydrate in grams with digits e.g. 7.5g.

After adding to the database, you can then add these foods to your meals.
